Privacy Policy

Last updated October 18, 2026

This policy explains what information Paramedic Command Center collects, why, who can see it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We only collect what the Service needs to work:

  • Account: your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash; we can't read them.
  • Profile (optional): phone number, certification level, program, expected graduation date, NREMT ID, state license number, and profile photo.
  • Study activity: the practice exams, drug tests, and 12-lead challenges you take, your answers and scores, flagged questions, study streak, and study preferences.
  • Clinical log: shift dates, hours, categories, skill counts, and preceptor details (name, credentials, license number, email, and signature).
  • Technical data: sign-in sessions, the time zone your browser reports (used for your study streak), and basic server logs used to keep the Service secure and working.

Please don't enter patient names or other information that identifies a patient anywhere in the Service.

2. How we use it

  • To run your account, sign you in, and keep it secure.
  • To score your practice, show your progress, and track clinical hours and CoAEMSP skills against your program's requirements.
  • To send account emails, such as password reset codes.
  • To find and fix problems and prevent misuse.

3. Who can see your information

Your program's administrators can see your profile, exam and drug test results, study streak, and clinical log, so they can support your progress. Other students can't see your information.

Service providers process data for us only to run the Service: our database and hosting provider (Supabase) and our email provider (Resend). They may not use it for anything else.

We don't sell your information and don't use it for advertising.

4. How we protect it

Data is sent over encrypted connections. Passwords, reset codes, and session tokens are stored only as hashes, and every request is checked so you can only reach your own records. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you don't use elsewhere.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. If your account is deleted, it is removed from use and you lose access, and your records are no longer shown to anyone. Some records may be kept for a limited time where your program or the law requires it.

6. Your choices

  • You can view and update your profile at any time on your Profile page, and change your password in Settings.
  • Optional profile fields can be left blank or cleared.
  • To get a copy of your data or have your account deleted, contact your program administrator.

7. Cookies and local storage

The Service uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember small conveniences, such as where you are in an exam. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Using the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy. See also our Terms of Service.

9. Questions

If you have questions about this policy or your information, contact your program administrator.
